This Blog is MOVING!!!!!!!!

It finally came to my attention that this blog site will no longer be supporting blogs like mine that are published through an FTP server. So instead of transferring all my material to their new method, I've decided to direct my efforts towards Tumblr.com. Am actually really happy to dump a lot of old posts. Its all about the new now.

Hats of the week

These are some hats I've been working on this week. I'm perfecting the designs before I offer them in my Etsy shop.

I spent a lot of time last month figuring out the "cat hat" (top right). Originally I wanted it to be worn by a cat. So far I'm finding it difficult to get the size exactly right to conform to a kitty head. Turns out that feline heads are small and strange.

I've become obsessed with buying yarn at second hand shops. I love the colors you can find in vintage yarn. And even the labels are cute. I will have to think of a craft project just for them. But I'm a little overwhelmed with ideas right now.
So many possibilities..... what to do next?

A couple images from my shoot last week with Samantha. We did some test shots for the Fortyfive09 jewelry line.

Samantha did her own hair and make-up, while we collaborated on the wardrobe.
